Mt. Rainier

Mount Rainier has one ski resort connected to it called Crystal Mountain.

• Number of runs: 50 (+ over 1,000 acres of backcountry)
• Elevation: Base is 4,400 feet and the Summit is 7,012 feet
• Average Annual Snowfall: 350 inches

Other interesting information:

This is the biggest ski area in Washington (2.600 acres), but the space is evenly split between groomed runs and backcountry skiing.

Crystal has night skiing Friday and Saturday in January and February.

You can purchase your lift ticket in advance on-line. I'm not sure how much time that really saves you, but whatever :-)
